Juneteenth: The Return to Galveston

Elevate Experiences had the honor to co -curate the Official Juneteenth Return led by Nia's Daughter Movement Collective. The event was held at the official Juneteenth Headquarters in Galveston, Texas — the birthplace of Juneteenth with a powerful cultural event that marked its historic return to this sacred ground.

Elevate Experiences was brought on by Nia’s Daughters Movement Collective to co-curate the event, leading sponsorship outreach and marketing efforts. Funded by a grant from the Galveston Park Board, the celebration brought together community, art, music, and cultural expression in a meaningful way that honored the legacy of Juneteenth and its roots in Galveston.
