ABOUT THE EVENT

Black Art and Cocktail Party: A Journey Through Black Excellence

We’re back, and this time, it’s bigger, bolder, and more unforgettable than ever.

This year, we’re expanding and curating the event across 2 venues neighbored next door to one another to create a journey through a curated art gallery over to a upscale cocktail lounge.

Immerse yourself in a celebration of Black culture, where the worlds of art and spirits merge to create an unforgettable experience. Enjoy complimentary lite bites, complimentary samples, a complimentary cocktail, live music & more! This event highlights the richness of Black excellence through curated works of art by talented Black artists and a curated selection of libations from Black-owned spirit brands. Together, they tell a story of creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship, weaving a vibrant tapestry of artistry, flavor, and heritage

G03 VODKA

About GO3

GO3 handcrafted vodka is distilled and blended from three harvest sources that we lovingly categorize as food for the soul. Our harvested spirit is crafted from sweet potato, corn and russet potato. This unique fusion offers a rich blend of a sweet & full-bodied flavor profile. GO3 is also gluten-free and offers refreshing buttery notes, along with a mild hint of caramel that combine to form a super smooth and ultra-premium vodka experience.

General Orders No.3 celebrates and pays homage to the historical moment when emancipation was finally realized for enslaved African Americans held in captivity in the state of Texas. On June 19, 1865, Union Major General Gordon Granger arrived at the shores of Galveston, Texas and marched the streets with the 2,000 troops he commanded to read General Order No. 3. The order declared that the institution of slavery had officially ended, setting off joyful celebrations by the newly freed black men and women. This formed the basis for the annual jubilee, Juneteenth, now recognized and commemorated as an American federal holiday.

As Americans, we acknowledge that true equality has not yet been achieved in many of our communities. To help bring about change, we pledge to donate 8.65% of the net proceeds from Jubilee Spirits to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). These institutions have been instrumental in driving change and advocating for individual freedoms, equality, and economic freedom. They have always welcomed all Americans seeking a high-quality education and a sense of belonging and inclusivity.

About Clutch  Distilling

Eric Worrell Jr. is a Houston, Texas native with roots from Barbados. The passion for rum distilling flows in his veins. He is able to use his award-winning rum to fuel his tasting room and in turn, donate to the Lupus Foundation.

“Fight your good fight, whatever that may be, and when the dust settles, don’t forget to celebrate with friends and family.”

Clutch Distilling was started to help aid a loved one with a chronic illness. It continues today because of the strength, bravery and unwavering will they showed. Their fight is over now, but their legacy fuels Clutch Distilling.

Clutch Distilling maintains an always-march-forward mentality. In all aspects of your life, reach to “clutch” all opportunities. We believe everyone should have this approach to life. Many historic battles have been won on Texas soil and we intend to add another unique story to make Texas history.

Not only do we intend to bring you high quality spirits using the best ingredients possible, but we aim to do more. At Clutch Distilling we intend to do as much as we can to help in the fight against Lupus.

Lupus is an unpredictable and misunderstood autoimmune disease. It is difficult to diagnose, hard to live with, and a challenge to treat. We collect donations year around to support the Lupus Foundation of America. We make our donation in May which is Lupus Awareness Month.

To support, you can donate with us or simply purchase any of our Lupus Awareness merchandise online. A portion of these sales will be donated to cause. You can also join us annually at the walk to end Lupus to show your support.
