"Where creativity flows as freely as the margaritas!

The Margaritas and Art project is dedicated to spotlighting the talent of creatives in Texas while cultivating a supportive environment for creative exchange. By blending artistry with the enjoyment of margaritas, we provide a relaxed and inclusive space where artists can create connections, grow  and inspire one another.

You can submit up to 3 pieces. All submissions must relate to the theme. Submissions that are not on theme will not be considered
Open to creatives of all mediums (photographers, sculptures, canvas artists etc.)

 

THEMES

  1. Juneteenth in June: Celebrating the resilience and triumph of African American culture with works inspired by freedom, heritage, and unity.

  2. 713 Day in July: Embracing the unique spirit of Houston with artworks that capture the essence of our city's diversity, energy, and pride.

  3. White Linen for August: All white themed event highlighting local artists with vibrant hues and lively compositions that embody the essence of summer and community amidst Houston's iconic white linen tradition.

TIMELINE

Application Open Date: Monday, April 21st

Application Close Date: Friday, May 3rd

Application Decision: Monday, May 6th

Fee if accepted: $100
